DiabloSport’s Data Viewer software is an automotive diagnostic and logging application that lets users see what their vehicle’s sensors are reporting. Using Data Viewer to log your vehicle’s OBD-II data is an essential part of any custom tuning process. Data logs will tell your CMR Tuning professional key information about how the vehicle is running and what parameters need to be modified to maximize its performance.
Make sure your vehicle is running. Plug in your inTune, let it boot up, and then press/select the “Scan Tool” from the main menu, then “logging.” Next, hit "Record" to start your data log. Drive your vehicle and inTune will record your OBD-II log data to the device. Once you have completed your drive cycle, press “Stop” on the inTune and it will display “Exporting Log” on the screen.
Bring the inTune to your computer and plug the device in to an open USB port. Wait for the device to complete its boot up process.
Once the inTune is on the main menu, click the windows “start” and the select “my computer”. Under this window, you will see two new drives one named “DiabloSport” and another named “INTUNE.” Double click on the “INTUNE” folder to open it.
Note: Mac users will only have one drive that appears on OS X’s finder window- it will be labeled “INTUNE.”
Inside the “INTUNE” drive, you will find an additional folder named "Logs." Double click the "Logs" folder to open it, revealing the data log you recorded with the inTune. Right click, then copy these files to be pasted to your PC, or simply click and hold the files and drag them to another folder (such as the desktop).
Open DiabloSport’s Data Viewer Software. Click “File” then “Open Log” to view your data log in the application. If your tuner has requested a log file, simply open your email application (such as Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) and add an attachment, browse for your log file and send it!
